Ginger/”orange tabby” friendliness comes from a mix of genetics, hormones (most orange cats are male due to the orange gene), and early socialization — people also tend to keep or adopt the friendlier ones, so you notice the clingy ones more. Want less cling? give toys, routine play, and comfy solo spots.
